Doggie Day at the Beach Part Trois!

September 27-28, 2003 Lakeland Park, Lake Lavon TX

GIT is excited to announce our opening meet for the fall 2003 season.

Please note that the average high at that time of year is 85-90 degrees around here, so we thought it might be a tad warm. So, we've arranged to hold this race meet in a wonderful group campsite on the shores of lovely Lake Lavon, just east of Dallas.

Practices will be held for unentered dogs for $3/dog.

****All dogs will need to be on lead except when racing or practicing. Please respect this rule and help us keep this wonderful site.*****

We'll have a yummy grillled burger and fixin's lunch each day, $5.00/person.

Overnight camping is allowed on the site Saturday night. If you need a place to stay Friday night, check the lake web site http://swf67.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/lavon/ there are some parks that have overnight campsites. The group area will not be available to us until Saturday am.

The site will be ours until 10 am Monday, so you are welcome to stay and play Sunday afternoon as well.
