Lake Lavon Race Site

Directions:

From Dallas- Take 75 (Central Expwy) or I-35 north to the George Bush Tollway (Hwy 190). Take the Bush Tollway east to Hwy 78.  Take Hwy 78 North. Go past Sachse, Wylie and Lavon. You will see several brown park signs for various parks at Lake Lavon. Take a left on County Rd 550 when you see the sign for Lakeland Park. Follow 550, it dead ends in the park. Take the first left after you enter the park, the group site is on your left.

From the North (McKinney) Take Hwy 380 East to Hwy 78. Take Hwy 78 south. Turn right on 550 at the Lakeland park sign and follow directions as above.

From the east (I-30) area  Take Hwy 205 North from I-30 in Rockwall. Turn right on 78 when 205 ends and follow the directions as above.

****Please note*** You can take 78 North from 635 but we don't recommend it. 78 is the main street through the town of Garland and it there are many traffic lights and you have to make several turns to stay on 78. Pay close attention to signs if you choose to take this route.
